About Mr Brews

Mr. Brews Taphouse is located in downtown Appleton, Wisconsin, on the Fox River just below the College Avenue bridge between the Banta Bowl and Telulah Park. One of Appleton’s oldest and now newest neighborhoods, the land has been a center of commerce since the 1850s. One legacy of this rich industrial past is one of the nation’s oldest hydro-electric facilities. We provide a small-town feel featuring spectacular views, including windows on three sides for watching the river, eagles, and wildlife.

It’s hard to find a place like Mr Brews. We are a unique restaurant in that we not only offer a wide selection of draft beers on tap, but we also serve gourmet burgers in a family-friendly environment. In fact, we have such a large selection of beers that there’s a good chance we have one brewed near wherever you’re from.

We of course include the Wisconsin essentials like Miller Lite, Leinenkugel’s, and New Glarus brews. However, if you’re feeling adventurous, try out the Northern Hemisphere Harvest Wet Hop Ale from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in Chico, CA, or the Pale Sour Ale from Cooperstown, NY.

You can just relax, have a seat, and enjoy a couple of beers, or you can take the next step and choose from our irresistible All-American Burgers.

Whatever your taste, we’ve got it at Mr Brews. Our Rajun’ Cajun is not for the faint of heart – it’s topped with grilled onions and our very own Cajun Lime sauce. If you’re true to the classics, you can’t go wrong. We also serve the original All-American Cheese Burger and the California Burger, perfected with pepper jack cheese and guacamole.
